History
In 2002, ARES changed their business model, from being a multimedia company to being a web development company, specialising in content management systems and static websites. Using their background in marketing and creative development, ARES began making a range of small but interactive websites that are still in use today. At this time ARES also developed their own Content Management System, which was used and supported for many years.
By the start of 2005 the Board of ARES saw a change in the way the online market was operating and instructed ARES to stop using their own product and to begin selling international best-of-breed solutions. After extensive investigations, ARES became a partner of Electropost Stockholm, the manufacturers of EPiSERVER, the worlds faster growing commercial CMS.
The current business model of ARES, to embrace a new age of online development, is to develop in proven international products as a boutique .NET development company. ARES still embrace and employ staff with a strong marketing background to ensure they don’t just create websites; they create online applications that truly meet the needs of clients and users.
